It’s almost time for Summer Reading! The White Settlement Library's Summer Reading Program is designed to encourage children to continue to read over the summer break by offering prizes for reading. Summer reading is essential for students to retain the literacy skills they've gained over the school year. Readers may pick up their logs beginning Monday, June 10 to start logging their reading. Each time a reader reaches one of 10 benchmarks they will receive a prize. The last day to hand in reading logs is July 27 – no exceptions! Grand prizes will be handed out at the Grand Finale, which will be held at Splash Dayz on July 30. The Perot TECH Truck will be at the Finale with lots of fun activities!
