White Settlement Police Department Chief of Police Christopher Cook hosts an annual tradition where children around the community are invited to design the department’s official holiday card. These cards are then sent to a commercial printer and adopted as the “official” department’s Christmas cards that are mailed to other law enforcement agencies and social service organizations. This year was no different and the department selected six drawings that were completed by kids.
Congratulations to the following winners:
Age 5-7 Category: 6-year-old Everett
- Age 5-7 Category: 6-year-old Tiffany
- Age 8-10 Category: 10-year-old Walter
- Learning Disability Category: 8-year old Gigi
- Learning Disability Category: 8-year old Silas
- Learning Disability Category: 19-year old Torre
Each child also received a commemorative special coin and other department gifts as part of their participation. Parents were also provided a few print copies of the cards.
“This meaningful project warms our holiday spirit,” said Chief of Police Christopher Cook. “I love incorporating designs that come from the hearts and minds of these children which in-turn are mailed out across the region to showcase the value that our team places on community engagement. On behalf of our public safety team, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!”
