The White Settlement Police Department launched Santa Cops in 2024 and has achieved another successful year in 2025 sponsoring eight children and two adults. In partnership with the White Settlement Independent School District and Fort Worth Airpower Council, employees of the department donated money and time to deliver holiday gifts as part of the Santa Cops and Holidays & Heroes programs.
“The generosity of our employees and volunteers is admirable and appreciated during this time of year,” said Chief of Police Christopher Cook. “From employee donations to volunteers wrapping gifts, we are most thankful for these types of initiatives that seek to make a positive difference in the lives of children and families during this Christmas season.”
The department allows employees assigned to administrative roles to wear blue jeans on Fridays after making a cash donation to support these efforts. In addition, the department allows community members to purchase specialized patches to commemorate various holidays and events with the proceeds supporting holiday programs.
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, the department participated in the Holidays & Heroes gift delivery program. On Thursday, December 11, 2025, the department’s "Santa Cops" delivered gifts to families as part of the school district program.
