Automatic renewals are coming to the Library in April! Patrons have always been allowed one self-renewal per item, but in the past you’ve needed to log onto your online library account or use our texting service to renew. Starting Monday, April 1, that one renewal will happen automatically – no need to remember to log on! You will get a notification via email or text that an auto-renewal was attempted. Items that are on hold for another patron or that have already been renewed once will not auto-renew, so be sure to read your notification carefully – it will let you know if an item wasn’t renewed.
As always, in-library renewals are not limited. If your item has no other patrons on hold for it and you need it renewed more than once, just bring it in to the library to renew it another time. If you have any questions, contact the library at 817-367-0166 or at wspubliclibrary@wstx.us.
