Administration
The Police Administration Division directs the overall activities of the Police Department to accomplish the mission and goals of the department, ensuring that department resources are used in the most efficient and effective manner.

Communications
Communications is responsible for processing all incoming calls to the Police Department, answering all radio communications and keeping track of and recording police officers’ activities.

Crime Scene Investigation
The Crime Scene Investigation Division of the White Settlement Police Department collects physical evidence in the field as well as performing initial evidence testing in our crime lab facility.

Criminal Investigations Unit
The Criminal Investigations Unit is responsible for the follow-up investigations of all crimes occurring in the City from simple criminal mischief to homicide cases.

Patrol
The Patrol Division is responsible for answering all calls for service and enforcing all local, state and federal laws. Patrol officers also conduct all primary investigations concerning crimes or complaints.

Property
The Property Division maintains care, custody and control of all seized evidentiary property until final disposition is obtained from the courts.

Records
The Records Division is responsible for entering all offenses, incidents, arrests and accident reports into the department’s records management system.

Support Services
The Support Division is comprised of the Communications Unit, the Records Unit, the Jail, Background Investigations and Recruitment. In addition, the division also maintains the budget and personnel issues.

Special Weapons & Tactics Team (SWAT)
The SWAT Team is responsible for the safe execution of high risk search and arrest warrant operations, critical incident situations such as barricaded persons or hostages, surveillance and traffic or crowd control during special events.
