MakerLab


The White Settlement Public Library MakerLab aims to be a creative resource to which WSPL patrons may have free access. Currently, the MakerLab consists of a 3D printer, a sewing and quilting machine, and A/V equipment. Please review the following documents before using the MakerLab:

3D Printer


The library has one Dremel Digilab 3D45 printer. Patrons who have signed the MakerLab Usage Waiver may use the 3D printer.

Please review the instructions before beginning your project. 

Once your project has been approved and is ready to be printed, you may make a reservation for the printer here.

Sewing Machine


The library has one Brother Computerized Sewing & Quilting Machine (SQ9285). Fabric and thread are not provided.

Media Production Kit


Kit includes:

  • Camcorder
  • Microphone for camcorder
  • Mini-tripod camera stand
  • Green screen backdrop
  • I Can Present editing software
  • Animate-It! stop-motion editing software
  • Webcam
  • Podcasting microphone
  • Windscreen/pop filter
  • Sound isolation shield

Software included in the kit is available on a laptop that will need to be checked out with the equipment. If you don't need the software and would rather use your own laptop, you may do so.
