The Streets and Drainage Division is responsible for maintaining the streets, drainage, traffic control systems, and street lighting in a professional manner that will provide safe and efficient movement of traffic on the streets and flow of runoff through drainage channels.
Announcements: The Community Development Block Grant program utilizes federal funds to reconstruct certain portions of selected city streets each year. This year's selected project is the
500 block of Odie Street. The project will include compete street and sewer line replacements as well as sidewalks. The Street Improvement Program utilizes water and sewer franchise fees to overlay certain portions of selected city streets each year.
