We would like to extend to you a grand heartfelt FRIENDLY WELCOME to White
Settlement Senior Service Department. We are operated by the City of
White Settlement with assistance from Senior Citizen Services of Greater
Tarrant County, Inc., (SCS).
Purpose: to enable
senior adults to live independently with dignity by providing a schedule
of activities such as meals, classes, transportation, volunteer jobs,
recreation, health screenings, information & referral, and much more
Eligibility: available to anyone 60 years of age or older or
anyone married to someone 60 or older regardless of your age

Membership Fees: Not Required
Volunteers:
Over 30 different volunteer positions are available in the center and community.
Some of the positions include greeting and taking visitors on tours, singing in
the choir, visiting area nursing homes, teaching classes, working in the
kitchen, wiping tables, counting lunch money, making crafts, working at the
front desk, and serving on the Center Council.

Senior Services is celebrating 32 years of service.
Since 1977,
we have been striving to provide excellence in programming as well as provide
assistance where possible in order to brighten the lives of senior adults.
