The Recreation Department provides a wide variety of active and passive leisure time activities and special events for virtually all age groups. Utilizing City facilities and offering sports, arts and crafts, classes, camps, festivals, and fun within our organized "play." Each year the Parks and Recreation Department hosts Special Events for citizens like Halloween, Christmas, Easter, and National Night Out festivals, which attract more than 12,000 participants.
