The White Settlement Police Department went through the Texas Police Chief’s Association Best Practices Recognition Program assessment in June 2017. The assessment took two days where police chief’s from outside the area came and went through our policies, procedures, interviewed personnel, toured the facility and made the recommendation that we met and exceeded their criteria and awarded the Police Department our second Recognized status.
The White Settlement Police Department has participated in this voluntary process since 2013 when we received our first recognition. The Police Department prides itself on providing professional and superior service to our citizens and those who come here to work or visit. By participating in this program we are able to prove and show everyone that our policies and practice are in line with the best practices in the state and in the country. The department is proud of all our employees who work diligently day in and day out providing the best customer service to our city.
